CBSE Board will conduct National Eligibility Test 2017 in 83 subjects at 89 selected Exam Cities spread across the Indian country. Central Board of Secondary Education has been organizing the academic year UGC NET exam 2017 twice a year in June July and November December months. 

Each and every candidate should refer the eligibility criteria details carefully and then fill the UGC NET 2017 Application Form. If any candidates found ineligible at any stage of the scheduled process, then their candidature will be cancelled without any prior intimation. UGC NET exam date 2017 will be released soon by the authority board.

UGC NET 2017 Eligibility Criteria:

  • UGC NET 2017 Age Limit: Candidates should not more than 28 years as on 1st July 2017. Age relaxations are available for OBC (Non creamy layer), SC\ST\PWD categories, women applicants and research experience.
  • UGC NET 2017 Educational Qualification: Aspirants who have to secure at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master Degree or integrated courses or equivalent from universities / institutions recognized by UGC.

UGC NET Jan 2017 Application Fee:
  • General Category:- Rs.600/- 
  • Other Backward Classes (OBC) Non Creamy Layer:- Rs.300/- 
  • SC\ST\ PH or VH:- Rs.150/-

How to apply for CSIR UGC NET Exam 2017:

  • Candidates can apply only through the online official website.
  • Before starting the UGC NET January 2017 online registration process, aspirants have to read the notification carefully. 
  • They should have the scanned images of photo and signature. 
  • Step-I: Candidates have to complete the online registration to generate the Reg No. 
  • Step-II: Filling the online application form completely. 
  • Step-III: Upload the sign and photograph in prescribed format. 
  • Step-IV: Do the payment of the application fee E-challan or Net Banking \ Debit \ Credit Card.
  • Finally save the confirmation page for future use.

  • Closing date for online application: 16th November 2016
  • Last Date for Corrections in application form: 22nd to 29th November 2016
  • Admit Card available date: 21st December 2016
