Every year the CBSE/ CSIR has been conducting the NET Exam on two times in June/ July and Nov/ Dec month. They conducted the exam for 83 subjects at 89 selected exam cities spread across the India. CBSE UGC NET 2017 Syllabus:-

The CBSE UGC NET exam has contain 3 papers for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) & Assistant Professor (AP) such as,

  • Paper I: The paper 1 will be equal/ same for all 83 subjects (including Teaching Aptitude, Reading Comprehension, Research Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, Data Interpretation, Mathematical Reasoning, Information and Communication Technology, Current Affairs, Communication and Higher Education System, Polity and Administration). Don't attend more than 50 questions out of 60.
  • Paper II: The paper 2 is fully based on your preferred subject. It includes 50 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) and you have to attend all the questions compulsory.
  • Paper III: The paper 3 is also based on your preferred subject and it holds 75 Descriptive type questions. Also you have to attend all the questions in final paper.

Instructions for UGC NET Exam 2017:-

  • In CBSE UGC NET Exam 2017, for each correct answer 2 marks will be awarded and NO NEGATIVE marks for wrong answers. 
  • For Paper 1 & Paper 2, the exam timing will be  Hours and for Paper 3 the timing will be  Hours. 
  • They provides you the Optical Mark Reader(OMR) sheets to mark/ shade your answers along with the question booklet.
  • The electronic gadgets like cellphone/ pager/ calculator are not allowed inside the examination hall. So, please leave all your electronic items outside the hall.
